Uveitis – (Anterior, Posterior and Intermediate)

The signs, symptoms and characteristics of Anterior uveitis may include –
• Eye redness.
• Eye pain.
• Light sensitivity.
• Blurred vision.
• Dark, floating spots in your field of vision (floaters)
• Decreased vision.

Posterior uveitis may cause:
Blurred or loss of vision.
Seeing floating objects in your vision.
Sensitivity to light or glare.
Sensation of sparks or flashes of light.
Impaired night vision.
Impaired colour vision.

Intermediate uveitis causes blurred vision and floaters.

Symptoms may develop rapidly and can include:
• Blurred vision.
• Dark, floating spots in the vision (floaters)
• Eye pain.
• Redness of the eye.
• Sensitivity to light (photophobia)

Uveitis causes inflammation in Uveal tissues (Iris, Ciliary body, Choroid) producing all the above symptoms.

Ayurveda treatments reduce the inflammation in Uveal tissues, thereby reducing the sign and symptoms of Uveitis and with Regular treatments for a particular period reduce the chances of recurrences of attacks of Uveitis.
