a. Corneal Degeneration and Dystrophy – It is a genetically planned degeneration of collagen
fibres of Cornea making thinning of cornea altering its shape and curvature. The light rays
passing through cornea refract in altered manner thereby distorting the shape of object and
making a blurred vision.
Symptoms –
– Watery eyes.
– Dry eyes.
– Glare.
– Sensitivity to light.
– Pain in the eye.
– The feel of something in your eye.
– Corneal erosions.
